Facial Implants and Fillers
Two types of products are used: hyaluronic acid and calcium hydroxyapatite. When applied to different areas of the face, they help eliminate folds and wrinkles or naturally correct the appearance of facial areas such as the cheekbones, lips, perioral area, or the facial oval.
Although the discomfort is mild, depending on individual sensitivity and the area being treated, local anesthesia can be applied beforehand.
One of the main advantages of facial fillers is the immediacy of the results. It is important to note that the initial results are usually not the final ones and can be altered by the application of anesthesia or the appearance of a small bruise.
Depending on the individual and the treated area, results can last between 6 to 12 months. After this period, it will be necessary to repeat the treatment to maintain the results.
