Thread Lifting and Redensifying Threads
The placement of lifting threads in the subcutaneous tissue is a technique aimed at producing a remodeling and redefinition of the facial oval.
Lifting threads are special sutures made of biocompatible materials that are inserted beneath the skin to provide an instant lifting effect. This creates a tightening effect and a “non-surgical” lifting effect.
Redensifying threads are strategically placed in specific areas of the face and body to counteract sagging and restore lost firmness by stimulating collagen production.
The areas to be treated include: smile lines (barcode lines), cheeks, and double chin.
There is always a small risk, but bruising is very subtle and limited to the entry and exit points of the thread.
In the days following the treatment, it is advisable to avoid physical exercise and exaggerated facial movements.
The absorption of the threads is completed after approximately 6 months and is replaced by fibrosis, which maintains the tension and results for a period ranging from 12 to 18 months.
